Nice looking P40 how did you get around the guns and engine cover ?? on my one I never glued it down

Well, I decided that since 99% of that big beautiful engine would be hidden, I chose not to use it. I just wanted a more realistic looking bird. In this scale the removeable cowl makes the model look like a toy, so I went the other way. Too bad, I have no problem displaying engine detail, but Trumpeter just doesn't engineer these large scale kits realistically.

Yeah I noticed that I spent god knows how long doing the engine , only to see it hidden is it me or are there instrutions very vauge but I like the way yours came out
