Sean,
That's the best price you've paid for an incredible build.
I get asked by people if I'd sell any of my models to them.

That one was the Bargain on the century put it this way I know what wen't into this kit the cost of the materials etc etc I couldn't make it for £20 But then this one cost me £250 this is the 1/32 Dont forget Both these planes are in ''Modelling the F4 Phantom '' book by Osprey (shamless plug) I go to the southern expo theres always a good probuild there

Sean,
One day I would like to build the 32 scale F4e in RAAF markings, as I do a set of resin seats for the 48 scale bird, I have another kit I will complete when the time comes.
BTW, I'm building 2x 32 scale for a Doctor client and one is a kit from ^%$#, as parts keep breaking off, they are an F-14 and an F 15c.

Sean,
Sorry it'll be the Tamiya kit that I would like to do as an E.
I have a Revell 32 Tornado, that I had the idea of doing as a Gulf bird, but put the kit back in the stash.

Yep got to go Tammy on the Phantoms I did have a 1/32 Revell Phantom I ended up binning the thing it was aweful A cheap way around the Tammy E kit get the C/D basically the same kit , cutting edge do a great conversion for it , or they do a RF4E Conversion, www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=CEC32023www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=CEC32024I've see the C/D kits on ebay £40 less than the E the Cutting edge set is about £25 I Have a C/D in bits in a bag if you need spares I did the Revell F15 What a pig of a kit , but i didn't give up on her came good in the end

Sean,
I saw your F 15 and it is an excellent build, yes I know some Revell 32 kits can be a pain, I looked at the Tamiya F15e and F 16 kits for a possible build in the future.

I did the E Kit but the pits all wrong (its a D) the weapons load out is all wrong as well on the kit but the good thing is I paid £20 for it from Ebay the Tammy one was £115 sotheres plenty for AM goodies , But being the Cheapskate I am I did mine OOB

That's a beautiful Rhino, Sean. I wish I could paint that well on the easier 1/32 scale birds.
The Tamiya F-4E is a good build, I built it last year. The most difficult thing, as with most Tamiya jets, are the intake trunks. They can be built without seams though, it just takes some work to get them right.

Nice F-4 Sean! £20.00? Now that is the best show bargain I've ever seen.

Those are a pain , on my F4J(UK) Ididn't bother with them which left a big gaping hole the idea was to put fod guards on mine but 1 year later still no fod guards , one day one day

You aren't alone in that. I look at models at shows, and see FOD covers and the first thing that comes to mind is, "Yep, Tamiya and he didn't want to fix the seams" ;d They really can be fixed, just takes a bit of work. Here are the intakes for my Eagle: Before ...And After ...
