G'day, This Hasegawa 48 Mk IXc kit has the parts to make a Mk VIII, the decals used on this were the old Tasman, this subject is unusual in the fact the Shark Mouth is smaller, What is correct for this mount is the fact that this was a Flight Leaders mount. The RAAF had a way of identifying their flight leaders when airbourne, hence the mouth of this mount, this subject has been painted in the Mr Color Lacquers for RAF subjects. Rob.

Being retired now has given me a chance to build or even complete some of my own models and yes my workshop is close to being a factory, with contract and other clients builds of large and small scale birds, a few Auto's and AFV's. A large number of mine have been sitting for up to 2 years before being completed.

Rob, I wish I was in your shoes, I've got to wait a long while before I can retire! I have my own workshop, but spend too little time there. In the meantime, I'll sit back and enjoy all the great models you display here.
