G'day, This Hasegawa P 51 in RAAF markings is another of those 'altered' Flight Leader identification systems for airbourne formations, this aircraft had a very short service life [28 days] as it was damaged in a [Forced] landing accident. The fuselage roundal is over size, as this was Sqn Ldr Cox's id for formation flying. RAAF Wartime Photo. Rob.
