I like to do my aircraft models in 1/72 scale because of the variety of subject and because I like a lot of the unusual subjects that can only be found (mostly) in 1/72. Also I can fit more models on my tiny display shelf .What scale do you like to model in?

I'm a 1/32 guy ive done a few 1/72 there good fun builds did 3 1/48's personally i can't stand that scale too much detail fiddly parts ( basically i'm crap at that scale ) so Its 1/32's for me there easy to build plus nice and big the only downside is , none of the lazy kit makers have bothered to make me a F4K/M Kit yet

Hi Sean, I mainly stick to 1/48 scale as its easier for me to work with than smaller scales. I do the odd 1/72 jet now and then and sometimes treat myself to a WWII subject in 1/32 scale. The only thing with 1/32 scale is that it is difficult to hide my mistakes!
Regards,
Darren.

G'day,
I build mostly 48 scale, up to Korean Era, a majority of which are RAAF Pacific Theatre, a little Allied European / Nth African, a sprinkle of Axis [targets] some 35 scale mixed Era's, the odd 72 subjects, have several 32 and 24 Scale stuff, dabble in 48 resin products.

I like 1/32 scale because of the level of detail in them. Admittedly, they are hard to do anything with once finished (the last three I built take up about 2 feet of space each!) but I really love building the big monsters.

i stick mainly to 1/72nd but occasionally dabble with the bigger scales, i have a few 1/32 models to do including two hase spits and revell Hunter spring to mind from my stash. i would like to get some of the airfix 1/24th kits again but i am limited for space at the mo. i find that 1/72 works well for me as most aircraft fit with this scale, from the pits special to the B36 and B52. even a Boeing 747 and galaxy is not beyond the realms of possability in this scale.
all the best.
Greg
