i was having a mass clear out of my spares boxes and finding some old horrors (and disposing of them before anyone sees them ) and i found this this is from some time in my early teens or before. not much in the line of usable spares so the question is, do i chuck it or re-build it?. can'r remember if this is a late frog one or an early novo release. the decals came from the spares box and it represents one on the cover of a copy of "commando" mag (things we used as reference when we didn't know better eh?) well, save or scrap? I say rebuild and hang onto it. At age 54 I would truly love to have back some of the models I built years ago. All I have left is one Phantom Mustang I built about 30 years ago, and a couple of pictures of an F-4 and a UH-1. Hundreds of models down the tubes somewhere over the years, and I really wish I had them back now.

i have to admit, today i have stripped and junked quite a few old models (not this one though), all those that went into the bag were beyond repair, there was a Halifax done as a post war bird in standard night bomber colours and white around the cockpit and over the nose (airfix), a privateer firebomber conversion (from the matchbox kit) airfix sterling and sunderland, matchbox wellesley and walrus and quite a few smaller models too. one thing though, i have found parts for a few model conversions i am planning and loads of decals so that is a plus. also i have found an almost complete but unfinished revell ceausteau PBY that i am planning on re-building if possable. so far there has been three large boxes sorted and another two to sort through. the clear out continues.

I disagree... chuck it!!! Just kidding! From pictures it doesn't look very damage at all. If you have most of Important parts then you should save it and restore it. BTW what parts are you missing?

really its just the prop thats missing, the engine is a mess and sits too far farward and the interior colour is all wrong.
cheers Guys, she's getting a re-build (how about a group re-build? after the spit build is done?)
