G'day, This 48 scale subject is the second Beaufighter I am working on, this was originally an OOB display, but I removed the original scheme and reapplied a battered cam scheme, as this was an OOB the only change I am making is fitting a resin pilot seat. The enamels used are all Humbrol and the muzzle flash and exhaust stains is Model Master 'Exhaust Metalizer'

That is very impressive!!! the weathering is outstanding !!! That must entail some very touchy work? Cannot wait to see it finished!! What kind of undercoat (primer?) is that?

Bill,
This model was painted in Brick Red for the canvas primmer and Silver for the metal work, the exhaust collectors are Antique Bronze, the lower surface cammo is Mediteranian Blue, the upper cammo is Dk Eath / Mid Stone, then rubbed back to expose the primmer and BM underneath. The Tamiya kit #61053 depict this as a diheral tailplane and armed with rockets, references show the real thing as a horizontal tailplane and a bomb rack on the wing hard point.
