The Trumpeter F-105D I'm building for a man who flew it in Vietnam is slowly starting to look like something other than a loose collection of parts. At least I have the cockpit pretty much done. Here are a couple of photos of the "Office": There are some more photos of the cockpit on my web site at This LinkIf I counted correctly there are 118 separate pieces of PE, resin, styrene, wire, and foil in the cockpit alone. The side panels aren't glued in place yet, nor is the ejection seat. I'll finalize the side panels once it is fitted into the fuselage and the seat will be glued in place somewhere down the line. The leg restraints, which are connected to the seat, are just laying there right now and will be "Posed" better once the seat is mounted. Joe told me that he normally hung them on the two T-handles on the main panel (one for air refueling and the emergency brake handle) so that's where I'll hang them to. After looking at the photos I also see a couple of minor things that need to be cleaned up some. A couple of seams that need to be filled and some paint touch up here and there.

Scott,
Excellent work on the 'Office', the Trumpeter offering builds into a nice model, I recently looked at their Fw200 Condor kit, but I'm waiting on their Wellington to appear.

Thanks, guys. Glad you like it. Now that the cockpit is done I can get started on something that will make it look like an airplane.
The kit goes together quite well. I built the 2-seat "G" model last year, and this one is the single-seat "D" model. The owner found a TON of aftermarket stuff for it so it will take some time to complete though. So far it has been fun even though getting all the PE in place was a bit tedious at times ;d
