C-130j Hercules - Some Help

G'day,

Does anyone know if the Italeri 48 scale C-130j Hercules II is a true 'J' series kit [the fuselage is longer] or is it the older 'H' series with the 'J' props as I have the the SO CALLED "J" kit they released some years ago and then withdrew from their catalogue.

Rob, I do not know for certain, but I'm pretty sure this is a re-issue. I'm sure I read a review of this kit in one of my magazines recently, when I'm home I'll have a look for it to find out for sure.

If it's the re-issued old 'J' kit then it's a 'H' with the bits, [the fuselage is too short] for the 'J' series.

I have the RAAF markings for this monster, we did one of a 'H' for the RAAF, as the first RAAF Herc into Bagdad, I have a pic of it somewhere. [sitting on the hood of that 'Super Carrier'].
