G'day, This old Monogram Kingfisher is in the RAAF's 3 OTU markings, when based at Rathermines in NSW I have yet to apply the serial number of A48-4. The blue / grey colour is the scheme this bird was opperated in and was the only blue Kingfisher in the RAAF. As this was a training unit these ARE the markings for this bird, they did not carry the RAAF roundals, fin flashes, or Squadron codes, untill the crew was considered adiquetely trained be for advancing to 107 Squadron, the only RAAF Sqn to operate this type. I’ve always liked your work and seeing how it goes together. Great Progress!
I’m thinking about building one these sometime in future, if I can find one. Overall how is the fit—does it go to together pretty well?

Thanks all for the kind words.
Sean,
All that is left is the Dullcoat and weathering, before removing the masking, yes more will be posted on this when completed.

Nice work for an ancient kit. I have one of these that has been in the box for 20+ years without me building it.
