Hello--
I'm planning a small, modest diorama of a Luftwaffe airfield--I have a hardstand, an Fw190D-9, and will soon have the Verlinden Luftwaffe airfield carts. Who makes 1/48 scale jerry cans, oil drums, and other such accessories? How about Luftwaffe ground crews and pilots in 1/48? I know Tamiya and Dragon make plenty of stuff like that in 1/35 (mostly for armor scenes), but who makes 1/48? Resin is okay, but not necessary. Thanks! I know this probably belongs under "Dioramas" (and it is), but "Aircraft" gets more traffic.

Greetings, uproar. There are a few verlinden sets that have what you're looking for. They are mostly resin, but the detail is outstanding and there is a plethora of accessories. Look to see if you can find these sets....... #380 (luftwaffe airfield carts), #1367 (luftwaffe gun- cleaning crew....drums and jerry cans included, along with 2 figures), and #1132 (luftwaffe maintenance corner...lots of neat accessories and photo-etched tools). Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.
