Hi guys and girls,
i know this is not exactly the right place for this and i appologise but i am posting this anywhere i can.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight need our help. a friend of mine who works for them has told me they are desperate to get hold of a Fuel gauge for MKXVI Spitfire. this is holding up the restoration to airworthyness of their Spitfire MKXVI. this is an important airframe as it is the only MKXVI spit they have that is capable of getting airborne again and will be a huge asset to the flight. and a memorial to the guys who flew the later merlin engined Spitfires.

if you know anyone who has one for sale, or preferably that they can donate please contact either the flight or pass details on to me and i will forward them. me e-mail addy is landyman2005@fsmail.net
