i always liked russian aircraft (post-ww2), so tried to build a little collection, antonovs, yaks, migs, sukhois, lav's, etc... i now have like 40 kinds of birds, but i recently build 3 A-model kits (mig-9, mig-9 L and a yak-21) and i realised that almost 10% of the pieces fit, a nightmare kit, i trashed the yak-21, the fuselage did'nt fit if you had the engine and the cockpit inside... i was wondering if all other A-model stuff is like that since i was considering buying one of those big birds they have, but to spend (200 usd / euros) on a lousy kit...

nito, I have purchased 4 different A-Model kits from the ones you have, and let me assure you, they are all as bad as yours. I ended up buying some Me-109s that no one else has done, but after careful inspection and some building and test fitting, I have decided just to use the mark-specific parts with kits from other companies, and either toss the rest or maybe a quick-build for the fireworks display in July. As bad as these kits are, I am glad to have them, if only for the parts.

Can't you take them back for a refund? ....I'd hate to buy some kits only to find out their junk and everyone else says the same thing....Grab them up in a sack and your receipt and go trade them back in for something else and let the LHS guy worry about dumping them back to the bad manufacture who's building these misfitting models ...Just a suggestion but don't let these people get away with misrepresentation of their product their selling to us modelers

PegLegRC, I wouldn't say they are complete trash, they just have a LOT of room for improvement. And, in most cases, they are the ONLY kit of the subject out there. It will take some doing, but they can be built, and they will definitely help a builder learn patience and finishing techniques!
