Hi guys, gals, I have here Hase's excellent 48th scale BF-109E, built way back in 99' before I had a digital. It has survived several moves since it's completion. This is the 1st Luftwaffe paint scheme I've ever attempted. Which shows with the mottling effect of the scheme. (I used a cotton swab to apply the mottling). [/img]http://photos.imageevent.com/uscusn/luftwaffe/websize/P1010024.JPG Built OOB except for the Aeromaster decals for JG.26. Only goof being that I wasn't familiar with the details back then, shame on me, is I installed the Desert air filter instead of the much smaller intake used in the ETO. A great kit of a great airplane, Hasegawa did include a fret of PE in the kit. It was quick and easy build and have a couple of more to build in the stash. I used Aeromaster acrylics, standard 70/71 Splinter scheme over RLM 65 Hellblau. Images taken with an Olympus D-560Z Digital camera. 6 years after the kit was completed. Slowly taking images of completed models that have been built long before I had one. Thanks for looking. [/img] Chuck Fly Navy
