I'm new to the forum here and wanted to post my latest build. This is Hase's 1/48 Kate (late war). I wanted to simulate the weathering and paint failure these planes displayed. I used PollyScale IJN acrylics over NMF undercoat. The chipping was done with salt and scraping with a toothpick. The panel variations were done with colored pastels. The first couple of pics were used for reference. Comments always welcomed.
