Man, making me think about getting the new DML Flak 88 with all the extra goodies that come with it, my very first model was the Tamiya 88 with the plastic barrel that I got last year, did a terrible job building it, used it to practice my AB a couple weeks ago.

Thanks all,
You guys can see on my last pic that I took the FLAK 18 turned barrel from the DML kit along with it's breech block and adapted it to the Tamiya. I thought "why waste a perfectly good turned barrel?" I mean the barrel collett on the FLAK 37 looked the same so I went for it. I still have the turned FLAK 36 barrel for the DML kit, so I got some added value out of it and improved the old Tamiya kit in the same swoop!
