here are some more pics. had to trim out the wheel openings a little for the tires to fit right. need some ideas. i want to fill in the floor back here, but i'm not sure if i want to go the full route of putting in wheel tubs. i don't plan on taking the body off, but it could. do you think just putting in some flat pieces to fill the holes will be okay? i'm open to suggestions. thanks

Its looking good so far! To answer your question, I would just fill it in with sheet plastic.

working on the engine some more tonight. first time ever for making headers, in fact, the one side took me like 15 minutes while watching larry the cable guy. here's the pics. sorry bout the quality. will get some better ones later. i'm just really excited right now. oh, on a side note: i'm thinking about opening the truck on this one to put a fuel cell and the battery in there. what do you all think? good idea? i'm kinda thinking i will regret it in the long run if i don't. i've never went this far with a model, why stop now. right?

just a couple quick updates. cut out the trunk last night. hoping to get a box and hinges build for it tonight. got the headers and engine mounted in the chassis. make up two exhuast pipes, can't find one right now. the front rims and tires came in today. bought another kit just for them. (well, maybe not JUST for them). it's very possible that this could see some paint before the weekend is over. i did get the roll cage and the headliner painted. another couple weeks and it should be done. if anyone wants pics, i'll take some.

got the body painted last weekend. i let it cure this whole week so i can wet sand and clear it tomorrow. so maybe by tuesday or wednesday i can have it fully assembled. meanwhile, i've been workin on a viper powered dodge ram to tow it. it's almost done and is basically ready for paint. i'll get some pics of both tomorrow morning.
