Well guys I've finished my Tamiya Panther Ausf A great fun to build I added friul tracks and a Aber grill set the ariel is a piece of fuse wire I used Humbrol paints on this the weathering i used pastels I Sprayed the whole tank in future and then for a nice touch i mixed up a small piece of brown chalk pastel , crushed it up in a jar added water then just chucked it over the tank then with a hard brush rubbed it into the tank this is my 1st tank in 23 years now can I stay here in this section or should i go back upstaire to the aircraft in shame ?

, Dang!!! Ok, PLZ stay!! That is excellent!! BRAVO! You sure haven't lost your AFV building skills!! Looks just like some of the pix I have of Panthers. So.. You had fun with it, huh? You like the Metal tracks? HA, does ur tank feel heavy?? Man, mine weighs like 5 lbs, LOL, Great paperweight! Anyway, Really proud to have you officially join the(very) small but,... Elite (lol) Armor section! BTW, what you gonna build next? Hmmmm...?? After this one I am finishing up now, I think I will do as Steve suggested and build an Allied AFV. LOL
Have fun, Bill

looks pretty good sean. Just a couple of suggestions, not to knock your build! After the zimm was painted it seemed to look pretty thick. Just a tip for your next build, try to make the putty even thinner than what you added. Just for picture purposes, try to add some black on the inside of the muzzle. Makes the tank look like it's got some depth, this sould be done to the exhaust. I usually just use a "soot" pastel powder, but that's just me. This is a great build with a not so good model you have here! You did it some serious justice mate, and the weathering tips and such that I offer don't usally come on the first two or three AFV's someone builds, soooo you did great!!! really you did!

Cheers James Your the 2nd who said about the muzzle i totally forgot about that lol the zim was thick its meant to do 1mm i think thats a lot thicker the exhausts i was going to drill holes in them but i'm a bit chicken but theres about 2 mins work there on the muzzle and exhaust

Sean,
That's one excellent Panther you finished.
Add what the other's have advised in a little weathering especaly around the muzzle brake and exhausts. If I can add my cents worth, the radio antenia is rigid, one way to do this is use a piece of 1/32 music wire {K&S make this stuff in 3' lengths} and mix both Warbirds and AFV's as a subject choice.
Incidently I 'tinker' with AFV's and Soft Skins in my collection of builds, mixed with some resin conversions.
