Well first i was wondering buying the big train from trumpeter 1/35 Krieg locomotive. anyone has it , made it already ? Armour tracks (and figures) are my personal nightmare.... first the single links DML 's.. then the painting , i knw there are no magic formulas, some stuff works for one guy others don't... but i already tried tons of stuff (basic coats - washed-drybrush) but i'm never happy with the results. i was hoping for a miracle advice that would work for my next project (british challenger)... finally, i am trying to find a british centurion 1/35 and a German 38(t) and a russian t-90 (all 1/35), does anyone a knows who has those ? thanx to all the kind advices

You can always count on http://www.internethobbies.com..I buy 90% of my models from them..Not only are they fast to get your stuff out to you, they also send you a e-mail from UPS telling you what day you can expect your model's to arrive..When it opens(web site) click on military and enjoy the hundreds of Armor models they have to offer and in all scales too..They also have cars and trucks and airplanes to choose from.....Their also the best prices I've found on-line too....."RC"

I can say that if I were starting out today, I might not have stayed in the hobby. Today, with the internet and IPMS events, etc. the work out there is stunning and intimidating for a beginner. The best advice that I can give you is don't build to the standards of others. Appreciate the advanced work you see, but don't try to COPY it. Build for your own satisfaction and use your own creativity. Don't worry about accuracy and colors and all that stuff---JUST DO IT. All that will come later. Modelling is an aquired SKILL. It is no different than learning a job. Experience makes you better. Get the experience by building, encountering problems, overcoming them, and developing techniques....that's the key.... Show your work with pride..we will support you Steve

Steve's right, building for someone else's approval will only kill you in the end! Good luck, we'll help you with whatever you need!
