Hi gang, I've been slacking on the builds for the summer months. This Pz III has been on the bench since May! Anyway, I am still working on the dio base for this Pz III. It is the old DML release aus M. Tamiya acrylics for the base colors, MIG pigments and floquil railroad colors for the weathering. The excellent Tristar figure set (German tropical tank crew) was used as well. All storage, tow cable ,fenders etc. were scratched. All comments welcome, Steve img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/crockett007/DSC00079.jpg[/IMG]

Nice "M" Steve I love those early panzers.
I have noticed a few points (maybe its the picture) do I see a fingerprint on the bow, there is a strange spot its look if there is are no pigments?
The rail where the spare tracks are needs also a Little pigment I think?
Small points and easy to correct to make this "M" a real beauty.

Great job Crockett...I don't see a fingerprint.. I think Ron's seeing the "like diamond plate" on the fenders.....But it does appear that the front piece under the extra track is not painted..Sorry! Not being a rivet counter....Just adding my thoughts on your fine work and Ron's coments......I really like your figures, the flask & head bandage top off the Pz III aus M Afrika Korp... It's like it's own little Diorama sitting there telling its story, sit it in some sand and call it "Finished"....

I`m also not a rivet counter, but I mean that spot between the two intakes (doint know what to call those things, but its for cooling the brakes) on the bowplate, the plate thats ron from the front to the drivers glacis. But as I sad before its a verry nice model.

WOW! Wonderful Panzer III! I love it. I am a big fan of the Afrika Korps and I happen to favor the Panzer III(Only just below the Tigertank of course!) And I am very impressed. Great job, keep it up!
-P.S. LOVE the figures! Way better than anything I can do at the moment(I'm getting there trust me!)
