G'day,
This has been seen by some before on another forum, a 1/35 Tamiya LRDG Chev, conversion is not mine, it belongs to a friend. My involvement in this project is the resin wheel set fitted to the kit chassis, the cab and cargo tray are all scratch built, the cam scheme is what was applied to 9th Div vehicles when returned from the Middle East and prior to moving into the Pacific region.
The cam is a hard edge applied by airbrush using Humbrol enamels and masked where needed using 40mm [1 3/4 inch], Tamiya masking tape.
The butterfly hood is fixed in this position for display purposes only.
