It is the M 49 A1 tanker. I called it the Lil Squirt because i would sometimes be in a convoy with the larger tankers. The truck was destroyed during the Tet Offensives of 1968

Here are a couple of before and after shots of the real truck. The after truck was my ticket home. This truck was painted twice while I was assigned to it. I ran over a land mine which cause the second photo.
