G'day, This OOP Italeri Bedford Gun Porte was originally built some years ago [minus the 6lb'r gun], so having spent a bit of time on a rebuild and fitting a Tamiya 6 lb Anti Tank gun onto the tray of the vehicle, the 'trap' is a single layer of a face tissue draped over the bows and glued with Tamiya extra thin cement, the side canvas's were rolled with the aide of a toothpic and glued into place. The winch cable is a length od builders twine with a piece of copper wire as the loop for the Anti Tank gun, the drivers side door has been made but not fitted fron a piece of lead sheet and styrene stip for the hinges and handle. These vehicles were used by the 8th Army in Nth Africa as mobile Anti Tank platforms. This is the state of the rebuild at present

Only kidding Rob. But I am going to have to get me one of these kits to build. Between you and Cliff, I not sure who builds them better. You guys are the Masters from Down Under...

Dave,
Cliff is a the soft skin master with his vehicle builds, from 'Down Under', I'm a specalist [Beaufighter] aircraft builder, I hope this kit will reamurge again, Nth Africa was only place these vehicles were used with a modified cabin, over the European Front these cabins were closed in. The 6 lb'r is a Tamiya addition, as I intended to hook it up to a universal carrier.
