Here is some in progress photos of a build of the Early version of the Eve of Destruction. circa 1968/69.











I made some master molds to duplicate the cab portions. The cost of kit bashing two kits plus the scratch building of other parts is very expensive (have you seen how expensive the models are becoming lately). The only problem with the molds is that they don't last too long and I have to make new ones all the time.

Animal ... just when I think I've reached a reasonable standard, I look at some of the stuff you've built and know that I still have a lot to learn ... but that's all part of the hobby, you're never too old to learn ... teach me!

Your casting and scratch building is excellent, I have seen some of the work Cliff had done when last I visited him.
I know what your saying about the resin moulds, as I go through several sets with my 'Wingy Thingy' stuff

Thanks again Rob. I have been using a softer rubber for the molds lately. I have had very good results with finer detail showing, but the molds tear a lot easier.
