Down the river...

Here's another one from last year, a softskin. The old Tamiya Ford GPA. Well not really a diorama but more of a display. The figures are included in the kit.









The base was built using styrofoam topped with wall putty for the mud effect. The tree was scratched from wires, scotchbrite pad and woodland scenic turf materials. The tall grasses were made from brushes.

the mud looks awsome, but a little constructive criticism for you.. the grass is totally unrealistic. It still looks like a brush with the way you have them comming out of the ground. You have hundreds of super long blades of grass comming out of a spot that is maybe .5 of an inch in diameter... not trying to be an a***ole. What if you trimmed the grass down too? and scattered it around? Other than that I worship you on the cracked mud look! man!!!
