Hi al, A few days ago I received in the post a a surprise figure for review , It was from the French Modelling Magazine Steel Masters , The Figure is by Nemrod and is a 1/35 scale WW2 Us tanker. The pose is that of a relaxed standing figure with his left hand inside the jacket pocket. Cast in a very dark grey resin and with only one seam to remove from the left hand outside of the trousers. The figure is wearing the bib and brace overalls and tankers jacket, the right hand is separate and so is the head which has the standard US army fibre tankers helmet on. By changing the head fro one of the vast range from Hornet heads you can come up with many alternatives. It takers only a little research and you will have your very own original model. The figures are produced by Historex -08 rue Dunoise , 41240 Verdes, France . A quick check on prices and for the UK it is £8-60 and US $10-00 plus p&p. You will have to check for local importers in your own country. Overall a very striking figure with great potential for conversion . it is superbly cast and the stance captures the pose of a relaxed person very . highly recommended and many thanks to Steel Masters for the review sample . Cheers Ian Sadler
