As I promised, I posted something that I worked a lot at. There are 2 sets and a half of "German Infantry Advancing", but none of the poses is repeating. There were used various components from all 1/72 Preiser sets regarding German Army in WWII. They are painted with Humbrol, shadowed with Louvre Ivory oils and weathered with Humbrol 29, Matt Earth. Flash is painted with Humbrol 61 and washed with Burnt Sienna. Most of the positions of the figures and the way of holding the weapon and wear the gear are inspired from reference photos. In the last picture the soldiers were converted into fighting positions. Even if they look a little strange, they are prepared to be put in tranches not to wave their weapons into the air... ;D Any oppinion is more than welcome. <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/PRGerIWSet1JF.jpg"> <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/PRGerIWSet1J2F.jpg"> <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/PRGerIWSet2JF.jpg"> <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/PRGerIWSet2J2F.jpg"> <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/PRGerIWSet2J2S.jpg"> <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/PRGerIWSet2J2SB.jpg"> <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/MA.jpg"> <img src="http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/Panzer_Grenadire/PRGerIWF.jpg">

You are a very talented artist.....I see the last pictures are the poses of fighting, throwing of the hand grenade, shooting the automatic from the standing position up a hill at what ever and their all done with plenty of action to show they are working! Not just posing....All your figures have that class of working not just a pose....would love to see them, not in front of the board their laying on, but in a diorama of sorts that would show their action off better... I know you can see them working and if I study them for a bit.. I can too.. I do wish I had your talent....I'm jealous! ha,ha.. I do like your work very much....."RC"....

Thank you very much for your nice message, it made me great pleasure. If you ever come to Romania (nice country, small prices at beer, famous for pretty girls and unfortunately since next year it will be a Member State of the E.U.) I will ask you to pay me a visit to take a closer look to the figures. For the moment I take such pictures because of a dream of mine, I intend to issue a catalogue of 1/72 German Army Figures Sets with pictures and short reviews. For the moment, I have written in Romanian more than 30 such reviews but I still have some to write. I even translated one in English and I have just posted it here to see if it is understandable for native English speakers, so please let me know if it is OK. In addition, I miss several sets in my collection, but I hope that soon to be completed. Thank you a lot. Cristian

Hi PegLegRC, Yes, that’s right, I meant to “post it here with us to see and read” and it is inside the last topic that I posted, 1/72 Caesar German Infantry (Late War). Yes, it sounds like a little bit of heaven for the moment... let’s see what it will happen after we became a Member State of the E.U....Hope the heaven not to disappear... I was sure that you love Beer, me too... : ;D ;D Here it’s a little stronger than the American one, but it’s good.... And I forgot to say another famous thing, maybe the most well-known... Dracula.... ;D ;D (in fact it’s just a fairytale good for tourism.. ) Regarding the last one, some say that it’s never too late... Thank you very much for your message and I hope that you’ll enjoy the review and pictures. Cristian
