I've noticed you have so many models. How did you build them all? They are just so many. I'm stumped

Hi Charles, I didn't build any of them. I'm a modeler turned collector. My purchase record has registered 1,900+ bought kits, a few hundreds of which are still in box. I have two permanent modelers. "Art Instructor" builds armors and dio's while Niphon builds warplanes and warships, 5-6 pieces each at a time. I also have visiting modelers like Chakraphad who sold finished kits to me from time to time, and I also buy finished dio's from a hobby shops as long as they look good to me. I don't have much warplanes & warships because the main theme of my collection is armors and dio's. Anyway, in overall my collection is the biggest in Thailand... and maybe in the world too, just because nobody else is as crazy as me. I just live up to my callsign... BTW, have you seen this page? : www.falconbbs.com/model18j.htm

I'm just amazed ... absolutely stunned at the size of your collection. What is your occupation that allows you to pursue your hobby so intensively?

Thanks for your interest and enquiry. I've been working as a government employee in a government bank for 30 years. My salary is quite low by Western standard. But I live a single life so I have little burden and I save most of my earnings for models & modelling services. Many people thought I was a millionaire, until they saw my personal vehicle :

And of course you have more models bungied on it! Now I'm even more impressed. Do you get many people who want to just come in and enjoy all the models ... like touring a museum or gallery? I bet you've been in a newspaper article or two besides. Neat stuff!

Well, very few people showed up on the opening ceremony of my Museum late last month. Anyway, many people from several countries have shown interest to have a free tour at my place. Next month during X-Mas time I'll welcome a guest from Russia who's the builder of my Panther 1:8 RC. If you have a chance to visit Thailand, be my guest!

You're very welcome, Dan!
A few more months and the same modeler will finish Trumpeter's Nimitz and Sovremenny 1:350. I just can't wait to see them!
