Hiya folks! I was watching the Dukes of Hazzard the other day, and Jessie had his old moonshining runner car "Tilly" out for a race with Boss Hogg. Tilly was an old 67? or so Mustang, jet black with really no trim chrome at all. All of the glory was under the hood. This little gem inspired me to build a "Ridgerunner" in my own interests...mainly, a 67 GTO. I'm going through a "Thing" right now where I want to build the cars I built as a teenager (with little skill) only with my skills a bit more of a honed modeler. My favorite car then and now is the Pontiac GTO. In my teen years I had built a '64, '65, '67, '68, '69, and a '72 model-year collection. I lost interest in the hobby for about 15 years, where-as the collection was lost. I am now re-building that collection. Now, my '67 GTO "Ridgerunner" Kinda cool! Eh? Lemme know what ya'll think. Thanks, I wanted it to be "stealthy" so I didn't do much with the paint job. It's kinda cool that when it's under the lights, it has a blue tint. I primered it with flat black and did an overcoat of transparent blue gloss. I jacked up the suspension a bit, front and rear, to give it some clearance on those rough back roads.
, I could be a Duke boy! Cuhail
