Hey Y'all, I am contemplating building a PT-109 (Revell 1/72) with a removable deck I know I've got my work cut out on this one but, one problem I have is finding the Packard (V-12) 4M-2500 engines for it. Am considering using a P-51 engine & converting it for Marine application. Any suggestions on this & how to scratch build the interior? tia Eddie

The first thing I'd is go to Floating Drydock <<http://www.floatingdrydock.com/>> And order the drawings for the boat you want to build.
Also check out T. Garth Connelly's PT World <<http://www.ptboatworld.com/>> . He's also about the best info source on PTs that you'll find anywhere. Email him if you have a question. Mike K.

Thanks Mike, I'm planning to order a set of plans soon. I'm just getting back into the hobby so am asking for advice on how to go about scratch building what I need, maybe a list of sizes, types of styrene bits I'll need, etc. I recently learned that I will be able to convert the Packard built R/R Merlin (from Engine and Things) to a marine engine fairly easily.
